Tiered Matte Black Water Feature

The Tiered Matte Black is a multi-level water feature finished in a deep matte black powder coat. The dark finish is not just aesthetic—it absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which makes the falling water read more dramatically against the structure. This is a piece designed for visual contrast.

Available in two configurations: a compact two-tier version suited for smaller patios and entry areas, and an extended three-tier version scaled for larger garden installations. Both produce a layered soundscape with distinct tonal registers at each tier.

Why Matte Black

The powder-coat finish serves two functions. Visually, it creates a high-contrast backdrop that makes the water sheet more legible—particularly in shaded or partially shaded installations where a polished steel finish would disappear into the surroundings. Functionally, the coating adds a protective layer against hard water staining and mineral buildup, reducing maintenance in areas with high calcium content.

Installation

Self-contained recirculating system. Standard 120V GFCI outlet. Level surface required—concrete pad, paver base, or compacted stone. Powder-coat finish is durable but should not be placed in direct contact with soil; use the included base plate or set on a hard surface.
