AeroCube Double-Sided Bioethanol Fireplace

The AeroCube is a double-sided bioethanol fireplace designed as a transparent architectural divider. Viewed from either side, the flame is the central element—framed by minimal steel and glass. The piece is built for open-plan spaces where a traditional wall-mounted fireplace would close off the room.
The double-sided configuration is functional, not just aesthetic. It allows the fireplace to serve as a visual divider between two spaces—a living area and dining area, an indoor and outdoor room, a master suite and bath—while maintaining sightlines through the glass. Heat radiates in both directions, warming both spaces equally.
Material & Craftsmanship
- Aviation-grade stainless steel—heat-resistant, built for sustained high-temperature use
- Tempered borosilicate glass—clear visibility with structural integrity under thermal stress
- Precision TIG welding—continuous seams, no warping under heat
- Matte black powder-coat finish—high-temperature rated, hand-applied
- Vented bioethanol burner—clean-burning, no smoke, no ash, no chimney required
- Safety shut-off—integrated flame control and extinguishing mechanism
Bioethanol: What It Is, What It Isn't
Bioethanol is a clean-burning liquid fuel derived from plant material. It produces a real flame with no smoke, no ash, no soot, and no chimney requirement. Heat output is moderate—enough to warm the immediate area around the fireplace, but not a whole-house heating solution. The AeroCube is designed as an architectural and atmospheric element, not a primary heat source.
Burn time: 4–6 hours per fill, depending on flame setting.
Fuel: Standard bioethanol fireplace fuel (available from most hardware and online retailers).
Design Intent
"A fireplace shouldn't have a wrong side. The AeroCube was designed so both faces are the primary face—you can place it in the middle of a room and it works from every angle. No back panel, no hidden utilities, no compromise." — Designer's note
Applications
- Open-plan residential living spaces
- Indoor-outdoor transitional areas (covered patios, sunrooms)
- Hospitality settings—hotel lobbies, restaurant dividers
- Master suite and bathroom partitions
Safety & Installation
No chimney, gas line, or electrical connection required. Requires a non-combustible base and minimum ceiling clearance (specified in the installation guide). Keep flammable materials at least 3 feet from the flame. Not suitable for uninsulated or drafty spaces—wind can affect the flame. Full safety specifications and installation guide included.
