Zen Space 2-in-1 Waterfall Planter

The Zen Space 2-in-1 is a dual-function piece: a waterfall feature and a deep planter in a single integrated structure. The design is built for spaces that need both water and substantial planting volume—entryway statements, garden focal points, and landscape installations where a standalone fountain and a separate planter would crowd the space.

The "2-in-1" is not a marketing label. The planter basin is structurally integrated with the water reservoir, sharing the same footprint while serving both functions. Water flows from the upper element into the basin; the basin houses the plants. The result is a single piece that does the work of two, without the visual clutter.

Design Intent

"The 2-in-1 concept came from a real problem: clients who wanted both a water feature and a serious planter in the same spot, without enough room for both. Combining them is obvious in hindsight, but the engineering has to be right—the water system can't compromise the planter, and the plants can't interfere with the water." — Designer's note

Planting Notes

Deep planter basin supports a wider species range than our tiered designs—suitable for shrubs, tall ornamental grasses, and architectural plants (phormium, cordyline, Japanese maple). Drainage is separated from the water reservoir to prevent soil contamination of the recirculating system.

Installation

Self-contained recirculating system. Standard 120V GFCI outlet. Level, load-bearing surface required—concrete pad or compacted stone base. Soil and plants not included. Full installation and planting guide provided.
